Good Night classmates
Today I’m going to talk you about a video I saw in the morning called "Do Schools Kill Creativity" this video is a conference given by ken Robinson. He is an expert in education and creativity.
In this conference, Ken comments how the public education system eliminates the creativity of the students, I think that this situation is very complicated is a theme delicate because in general we don’t see the real value of the arts and only we value the traditional sciences for example mathematics, language, history and biology.
In the video. He tells some stories of child very creative but they grew up and lost their skills, this is the result of a bad stimulation in their homes and schools.
In my opinion, Mister Robinson have reason, the actual education system don’t promotes the skills of students even eliminates those behaviors unusual. We are afraid new things.
I hope that this will change in the future and learn appreciate the arts. The schools must teach these things.
And you... what is your opinion?
hello Guisell
ReplyDeletemy opinion is that the education is a topic difficult, but there is that begin to ask with new paradigms
bye.
I also agree education is avery oomplex topic, and the key issue to improve it in our country is to devote more resources to schools and to teachers. Changing the topic, it is so true we are afraid of new things.
